Static analysis of reinforced concrete floor structure of historical building
Nani, Pavel ; Bažant, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The chief objective of my bachelor’s thesis is a design of the reinforced concrete floor structure of a historical building over 1st floor. The historical building was built in 1874. There are three floors in this building and there isn’t any underground floor. The reinforced concrete floor structure consists of the following forms of structure – a ribbed ceiling, a floor slab, a beam, a shell of vault and a staircase. The ribbed ceiling is made from a lost formwork of the VELOX firm. The set reinforced concrete floor structures are according to ČSN EN 1992-1-1.
The assessment of existing structure
Pospíšilová, Lenka ; Pinkas, Karel (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
This document aims to assess existing reinforced concrete construction od single-storey hall. There is gradually made static calculation and made judgment on individual supporting elements of reinforced concrete construction. There was very important aspect of assesment load. That aspect was to calculate with planned instalation of a new overhead crane with greater capacity. The main basis for the assessment of existing construction was building-technical survey, the results of which were determined input parameters calculation. The aim of the study was to assess whether it is possible at the current technical state of the construction fitted in the future of higher overhead crane capacity required, or propose such technical measures that would allow this.
Design of Monolithic RC Floor Structure
Otáhal, Ondřej ; Zlámal,, Martin (referee) ; Švaříčková, Ivana (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis is to dimension and assess reinforced concrete floor slab in a typical storey of multi-purpose building at the ultimate limit state I. The slab is locally supported by reinforced concrete columns and restraint around the perimeter. To address the internal forces is used computing software NEXIS and obtained values are verified using the summation of moments method. Floor slab is reinforced by flexural longitudinal load-bearing reinforcement and around columns is placed shear reinforcement against slab extrusion by column. By calculation is shown that structure meet the resistance to bending and the extrusion. The thesis also includes drawing documentation of proposed solution.
Resistance of the roof structure loaded with photovoltaic panels
Holoubek, Jan ; Bažant,, Zdeněk (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to verify the resistance of the roof structure loaded with photovoltaic panels. On the roof of industrial building of rectangular plan with dimensions of 26,5 x 24,5 m in Hlinsko, the investor decided to install photovoltaic panels. Preliminary diagnostic survey showed only flexural reinforcement in the field of all considered load-bearing elements. Bending strength was assessed by these structural elements: reinforced concrete slab, reinforced concrete beam, reinforced concrete grinder. Static calculation includes a minimum reinforcement of support and necessary shear reinforcement, which must be demonstrated by a detailed diagnostic survey. The structural analysis includes the assessment of reinforced concrete beam deflection after loading. All assessments were performed according to currently valid Eurocodes. The calculation showed that all supporting elements meet the bending resistance and deflection of the beam is smaller than the limit value laid down in the EC, so the roof of the hall can be loaded with photovoltaic panels.
Load bearing reinforced concrete structure of flat building
Ruber, Lukáš ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis was to design and assess reinforced concrete floor slab on a typical floor of flat building, which has been specifically selected second floor. Slab is locally supported by restraint concrete columns without collumns head. On the short sides is also reinforced concrete walls. These walls also serves as reinforcing. To calculate the internal forces were used calculation software RFEM 5. It was controled by method of summary moments with subsequent comparation of results. The Slab was rainforced by flexural longitudinal load-bearing reinforcement and around columns is placed shear reinforcement against slab extrusion by column. Part of this work is also drawing documentation of proposed solution.
Load bearing reinforced concrete structure of apartment house
Ruber, Lukáš ; Krůpa, Pavel (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the design of the underground parts of the building. Part of this thesis is to comapare alternative designs and subsequentli evaluate the interaction of the upper structure with subsoil and pile fundantion. A detailed static assessment and implementation documentation is then prepared for the selected variant. The design of the base plate and reinforced concrete walls of the underground section are designed with respect to the crack width according to the principles for designing the white box. The theoretical part contains principles for designing and implementing a white box and evaluating design variants.
